Stonecutter Boy
DESCRIPTION: A stonecutter boy sees a young woman. If she'll rest a moment, he'll "tell you of the dream I had last night." They sit under an oak; she soon gives "a little scream." Smoothing her clothes, she invites him to tell the dream again when next they meet

NOTES [50 words]: According to Lloyd, the song had not appeared in print at the time of its recording. Again, I can't bring myself to assign the keyword "bawdy." - PJS
Lloyd is wrong; there were broadside printings in the nineteenth century, although they typically refer to a bricklayer rather than a stonecutter. - RBW
