The Ballad Index Library

Periodically the Traditional Ballad Index editors come across something that isn't really a "part" of the Ballad Index, but is a useful bit of Ballad scholarship that someone might wish to see and use. • The Gest of Robyn Hode (Child #117), a critical text and analysis by Robert B. Waltz with a Foreword by David G. Engle, Ph.D. (12.7 MB PDF). You can also download an ePub version (3.9 MB), although this is very difficult to use because of the intense formatting required for the book.
