NOTES [45 words]: Said to come from Pomerania, but now said to be know to most Germans. Ross Sutter, from whom I learned it, apparently collected a copy in Minnesota, so it has gone "folk" in the United States, if perhaps only locally. I wonder if Sutter's informatnt learned it in camp. - RBW
