Whereas Sandburg-TheAmericanSongbag lists his as a lullaby. I can't prove that these two are the same song -- but they're too similar to separate until fuller versions come along. Beck-TheyKnewPaulBunyan doesn't give a context, either, but he does describe snagging as one of the tasks of the logger, hinting that this is at least a song about work. - RBW
