NOTES [56 words]: None of the songster versions of this I have seen list an author. Google Books lists sheet music, but does not have a preview. The thumbnail makes it clear that an author was listed, but is too small to read with certainty. I think it says "C. W. Glover." Glover wrote several other pop-Irish songs, although usually just the music. - RBW
