NOTES [85 words]: I suspect that, if I could figure out all the corruption sin the text ("sistern"? -- this is an acceptable plural in some dialects, going back to Middle English, but no one would write it that way!), this would prove to be familiar. But repeated searches at hymnary.org, using all the variations I could think of, produced nothing. I wonder, given the number of unique hymns in Roberts/Agey-InThePine, if there wasn't someone in that part of Kentucky churning out hymns that never spread outside the area. - RBW
