NOTES [67 words]: This is fundamentally the same song as "I Wonder When I Shall Be Married," and both very possibly derive from a broadside "The Maiden's Sad Complaint for Want of a Husband." But this version ends with the girl getting married, and the other with her still an old maid. That's a sufficient change in the plot that I list the two separately, but there is clearly overlap.
