NOTES [96 words]: Roud cites a Montgomery example from Sandy Candy that starts "I had a wee dog, and he wouched at the mune." I have no more but if it goes like the following example then I think they are not related.
"WOUCH -- The same as bouch, a dog's bark. "I had a wee dog and he wouched at the moon, If my sang be na lang it's sooner dune." Auld say.
