NOTES [63 words]: This is pretty clearly the original of "The Maid' Lament (I)"; the first two verses of the Hamer text of the latter song are straight out this one. But the verse form is different, and "I Must Go Out on Sundays" is much longer. If they didn't have separate Roud numbers, I would lump them, but since they have the different numbers, I have (very hesitantly) kept them separate. - RBW
