NOTES [52 words]: It should be noted that this song is wrong; Moses never entered the Promised Land. He was allowed to view it from Mount Pisgah but not to enter it, and was buried in an unknown grave (Deut. 34:1-6, etc.). Of course, later Jewish tradition gave him a place in the afterlife -- but the Hebrew Bible never says so. - RBW
