Burgeo Jail

DESCRIPTION: Rose Blanche men are sent by boat to Burgeo jail for sixty days. On the trip, "good food and good comfort, no passage to pay." In jail they did't work in the rain, had tobacco, and lights out at midnight. Burgeo jail is the place to rest in the fall.
