NOTES [42 words]: Steve Roud lumps this with the well-known "Peter Gray." The style is somewhat similar, but it certainly isn't the same song. I have no reason to think that this is traditional; I'm indexing it only because it shares its Roud number with "Peter Gray." - RBW
