NOTES [83 words]: According to the Vocal Companion [(no author listed), The Vocal Companion, second edition, D'Almaine and Co., 1937 (available from Google Books), pp. 1810-181., T'he Bonnie Breast-Knot"], the music to this is by "Parry." I strongly suspect, however, that this refers to the arrangement; several other pieces in the book are also listed as by "Parry."
Chappell-PopularMusicOfTheOldenTime, p. 681, has a piece, "The Breast Knot." Since it has no lyrics, I can't tell if it's the same as this. - RBW
