NOTES [59 words]: I have to suspect that the Fife version of this piece is a fusion of two pieces, one in which an Indian attack was foiled and another in which it succeeded. (The introduction, about loving the girl, might even be a third piece). As the song stands, it doesn't really make sense. But since I can't identify the earlier pieces, I have to list it as one. - RBW
