This one was popular enough to be recorded by Bing Crosby. It was apparently used in a Betty Grable movie, "Coney Island."
The version Derek Piotr collected from Jim Eldritch and Madeleine Corleo seems to use the tune "The Noble Duke of York" for the verses, but I don't know if this is original. - RBW
