Penguin Song, The

DESCRIPTION: "Did you ever see a penguin come to tea? (Or, in the original, "Have you ever seen a penguin dancing here?") Penguins, attention! Penguins, begin!" The penguins dance, lifting left flipper, right flipper, left foot, etc. At the end, "Penguins, dismissed!"
AUTHOR: Min Seok Kim (source: musixmatch.com; this is for the version with the first line "ave you ever seen a penguin dancing here")

Judy Cook, "The Penguin Song" (Piotr-Archive #324, recorded 11/02/2022)
NOTES [46 words]: This is patently modern, but it is widespread (I found dozens of internet citations, mostly on YouTube) and almost none of them seem to know who wrote it. Moreover, there are substantial differences between versions. So it would seem that it is a folk song in some sense. - RBW
