The Victor ledgers for the recording by Blind Mamie Forehand credit her and A. C. Forehand with the authorship. The lyrics of the Forehands' recording are considerably different from the description of those in Carawan/Carawan-AintYouGotARight. They may be completely independent songs. I have not heard the Carter Family's recording, so I can't say whether it's the same song as the Forehands', the Carawans', or neither. - PJS
