Schinhan says that this is a parody of the church song "You Must Be a Lover of the Lord, If You Want to Go to Heaven When You Die." I suspect there may be an intermediate stage -- a serious song about Sister Mary -- but I haven't seen one. See, however, "Hop Along Sister Mary (II)," which also has this chorus. - RBW
