In addition to this, P. M. Claunts is credited with several hymns, none of which I've ever heard of; the most popular seems to have been "She Died in Beauty Like a Rose," which appears to have been in print before 1860. If this is typical of his work, it's not hard to see why he is so forgotten that I can't even find out what his initials stand for. - RBW
