NOTES [60 words]: Bailey/Roth-ShantiesByTheWay-NZ's notes list the tune of this as "'Hi diddle dee dee" from "The Wizard of Oz." There is of course no such song in either the Baum story or in the standard movie "Wizard." I assume this means "An Actor's Life for Me" from the Disney animated version of "Pinocchio," which came out in 1940. I'm amazed it was parodied so quickly. - RBW
