NOTES [73 words]: Baring-Gould/Sheppard-SongsOfTheWest2ndEd refuses to print the informant's words to this tune on the grounds that the had "no merit." Which strikes me as the pot calling the kettle black. The old words at least were from oral tradition. The new words have never, as far as I know, been sung by anyone except Baring-Gould and Co.
