NOTES [58 words]: There are two Lazaruses mentioned in the New Testament, and both die in ways which would probably be considered desirable. The first Lazarus, described in Luke 16:9ffff., is merely a character in a parable, but he dies and goes to "Abraham's bosom." The story of the second fills much of John 11, which tells how Jesus brought him back to life. - RBW
