NOTES [45 words]: After more than half a century, the thesis of this song -- that rock and roll is here to stay -- is clearly true. Ironically, the rhyme that makes the statement does not seem to have survived very well.
I suspect this was derived from "London Bridge Is Falling Down." - RBW
