NOTES [69 words]: Roud lumps the two pieces that I am calling "Oliver Twist" and "Oliver Twist You Can't Do This," but the forms imply otherwise. I strongly suspect that this was by origin a sort of "Simon Says" piece: The leader says "Oliver jump" and everyone jumps, then "Oliver kick" and everyone kicks, then other actions like "Oliver run" or the like, with the game closing with "Oliver Twist," after the Dickens character. - RBW
